> LineBall Tennis - Clapham Common Autumn / Winter update: LBT have been busy delivering hours and hours of tennis pleasure. In calendar month October alone Krishna James and lately Arlen (Jake Samson having returned via travels to New Zealand - we wish him well.), have done 200+ hours court-time; with Lambeth Council invoice of c.£2,500+ for court-hire; which is UNCOMMERCIALLY same as public hour rate of £12.50 - perplexing! And NEW Terms & Conditions for court-hire introduced in Sept. in place of tennis-coach license implementation, due to priorities and struggles at the Council. License has been in planning for 10+ years.
LBT see the license as a way of controlling the number of tennis coaches at the flagship venue Clapham Common. And relevantly earning money for budget constrained Council. Some neighbours have been unable to know who the full-time bonafide coaches are, and therfore using unauthorised tennis coaches who have not been vetted by the local authority, and depriving established coaches of a saturated local client pool. LBT have been engaging with the Sports Officers and management at the Council to fix this unstaffed premises - fingers crossed - watch this space.
> Off-season availability of tennis-services in November December & January from LineBall is undiminished except when inclement weather stops play. Our Adult Group sessions have been embryonic in development, inspite of one coach jointly running "tennis4london" out of cool Clapham Common with long-esttablished and known monopoly practice Julian Cousin. LBT is the David & Palestine to the Goliath & Israel - challenging odds!

> Definitive List of Coaches at Clapham: Julian Cousin, Krishna Siva, Dan Ellerton and others newly creeping onto Clapham are Catherine Dibble and former GLL-staff Sunil Rai. All others at the venue are legacy coaches and assistants - whom are STRICTLY NOT PERMITTED to coach outside block-booked court hours - any hazy dozy neighbours in locality using unauthorised coaches will have their booking priviledge via ClubSpark cancelled. > Summer 2025 Updates: Saturday Weekend after Wimbledon Championships weekend, there is heavy rain in SW London, cancelling whole day of on-court coaching, for LIneBall Tennis coaches James and Krishna. Latter afforded physical rest from 7-day week tennis-coaching rigour, and announcing "Strictly Come" Juniors Tennis Camp - Summer 2025.
Camp is starting on Tuesday 22nd July, and our recruitment of attendees has only been direct word of mouth so far, we've little marketing capacity apart from posters so we need the parent-brigade especially mummies to spread the word about our tennis-offering:

Krishna is a local resident tennis pro, playing and coaching tennis in Clapham Common and district for over 30 years. He gained his professional PTR tennis coaching certification in 2005 - see more in 'profile' page.
LineBall Tennis (LBT) is principal Krishna's enterprise banner. The LBT logo of a tennis-ball on a court-line encompasses an ethos of competitive enjoyment and passion for tennis
Krishna welcomes players of all standards and all ages for private, pairs or group tennis. Where demand permits adult and junior social drop-in tennis sessions are available (please check arrangement for such drop-in play).
He is available for tennis at most times including weekends: coaching and serving mainly at public tennis courts in Clapham Common West Side (SW4 9AN) and Kennington Park (SE11 4DA).
LineBallTennis offers competitive fees and preferential terms for tennis coaching, drills, hitting practice and social tennis.

LineBall Tennis' "Strictly Come" Juniors Tennis Camp Dates for 2025 / 26*: Spring H/T: Completed Easter: Completed Summer H/T: Completed Summer Mon 29th Jul to 30st Aug. Autumn Mon 28rd Oct to 1st Nov. Christmas 20th Dec - NO CAMP. Juniors Tennis ages 4-18 years-old at Clapham Common West Side SW4 9AN. Morning or Afternoon Session (10am-12.00pm or 1-3pm) costs £13 per session or £110 for 10 sessions. Morning session DEDICATED for Under-10s ages. Afternoon SPECIALISM for 11+ ages. ALL-DAY SESSION (Open again after pandemic!) Full day 10am-3pm costs £20 Additional hours from 8.30-10am or from 3-5pm are available at an extra £10 per session.
