Since
learning to play tennis at the nearby public courts in Clapham Common Westside
from the age eight, when he descended on theses cosmopolitan shores of London
from Sri Lanka, Krishna has had and continues to have a passionate participating
interest in tennis, especially with pleasure.
Apart
from the tennis highlights shown above in LineBallTennis - Clapham's principal
Krishna, he nowadays also actively participates in for humanitarian / civil
causes, in particular protesting for ideals beheld by his mentor in this
respect Dame Vivienne Westwood, as espoused by her activists website www.climaterevolution.co.uk
Until
the financial crisis of 2007-08 Krishna had a business-cycle led career in
investment banking; as
researcher in institutional investments funds arena. He is still
engaged in private self-enterprising work in financial investments,
writing investment proposals and developing new models of compliance. He
feels this worl complements
his tennis coaching activities, in much the same way as marketing and
broking equities with regards to the all-important client relationship
aspect.
His many other interest and hobbies included managing a local mixed-ability football team Sporting Tooting FC.
A football team which was in the ‘Grafton and West London Millennium League’ until the team's controversial expulsion! In
Season 2010/11 ‘Saints’ finished second in the GWLML League and runner-up in
the Cup competition. Sporting Tooting is sponsored by the rain-forest protection
charity ‘CoolEarth’
backed by his friend Dame Vivienne Westwood.
